Alyssa and Ian
I walked into Dress Lounge with low hopes and was only going to look. It was a year and a half away from my wedding date, but my maid of honor was trying to get me excited early! We went to multiple bridal shops this day and our last stop was Dress Lounge. At this point I was feeling defeated. I tried on multiple gowns this day and the spark just didn’t feel there for me. There were gowns I tried on and didn’t leave the dressing room because I didn’t understand why I didn’t feel the spark in them. I believe it was the owner who pulled me aside and said let’s re-look. She was so kind, and was determined to help me feel beautiful. She showed me a dress on a mannequin and asked me how I felt. I knew immediately that it wasn’t what I thought I wanted, but something in me told me to try. I walked out of the dressing room and knew, but kept quiet because I wanted opinions. I tried to keep it together but as I walked in front of the mirror, I teared up and knew I found my dress. I can’t thank Dress Lounge enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!
